Snow fell here last week…alas it is gone now. It was such joy to play in and snap photos!
This place is one of my favourite spots to hike too…the giant trees, the expanse of sky, and small river below makes me feel surrounded by nature. Hiking during Fall is the best for snapping photos!!
Leaves are lovely….I’m a child at heart and sometimes there is nothing better than jumping in a pile of leaves during Autumn. Try it some time 😉 and bring a camera along!!
Red shoes are a classic item to have!
A friend of mine bought these lovely shoes and they screamed at me to take photos of them! Do you ever see objects that inspire you? I do…. all the time and my mind tends to explode with ideas of how to use the items to make interesting photographs.
I must confess this instant does not make you think…its simply someone walking with the shoes on, but I do like the lighting in the image.
“One does not photograph something simply for ‘what it is’, but for ‘what else it is’”.
– Minor White
“One should really use the camera as though tomorrow you’d be stricken blind.”
– Dorothea Lange
“Once the amateur’s naive approach and humble willingness to learn fades away, the creative spirit of good photography dies with it. Every professional should remain always in his heart an amateur.”
– Alfred Eisenstaedt
These quotes from three great photographers always inspire me…I hope they do too! What photographers do you look up too?
Live Life, Love Life…the four L’s. I love how my subject has the confidence to sport this strong message! Do you live life and love life? I hope you do. Photography is a hobby to help you enjoy life and capture it!!
