Instant Fourteen: Sunset Chair

This wooden chair is from my house. Placing such a object outside in the sun intrigued me as, being a chair, it immediately suggests its there for someone, but its alone. Instead, without a person to look at, I focused on the chair in this image and how it makes its own space when the sun was setting. To me, the chair looks lonely, out of place, but quiet and confident.

I find myself interested in random objects…of course this may be boring to some, but items surround us everyday so why not concentrate on them! If anything, they are fun to photograph when no one is around!
